Let the Music Play
The LA Jazz Festival Foundation was established to close the enormous gap in music education, particularly in underserved communities where Jazz, an American-made genre, is so seldom taught. We are committed to improving the health and welfare of underserved youth and families by bridging Jazz, music, arts and culture with those in need. The Los Angeles Jazz Festival Foundation is a California-based, non-profit, 501c3 tax exempt organization.
"Give me a song of hope and a world where I can sing it."

Our Board
Your Support Matters
Thanks to the generosity of our initial sponsors, the LA Jazz Festival Foundation has established itself as a start-up non-profit with experienced executive leadership in a historic location in the heart of Los Angeles’ Black community. The neighborhood’s ties to many of the foremost artists in the history of jazz and popular music—from Ray Charles to Tina Turner—is the cornerstone of our plan to ensure jazz and music education is available to youth in all communities. Our affiliation with the upcoming international LA Jazz Festival on the Beach will soon be a showcase for the work and talents of teachers, counselors, instructional leaders and area youth.

Arts Education
Your support for the LA Jazz Festival Foundation will catalyze transformative change in the lives of underserved youth through our cornerstone and pilot programs.
Jazz Community and Jazz Scholarships will provide vital access to performances and music education, proven to boost graduation and attendance.
